Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves : be ye therefore wise as serpents , and harmless as doves.
Matthew 10:16
wise as serpents… Jesus knew the times we would be living in. He understood the veracious appetites of the ‘wolves’ we would be dwelling among. those who, under the influence of satan, will do whatever it takes to destroy God’s people. If you follow the news around the world, you can see his plan of evil unfolding. Governments being toppled, new ones emerging, becoming more openly hostile towards Christians & Jews. Marginalize them, blame them, attack them; repeat; this has been the scheme used throughout the ages, always repackaged according to the times and culture. Look at these articles in the light of scripture and you can begin to see the bigger picture:

That’s around the world; what about inside this country? These things can’t touch us, right? I wouldn’t be so sure. I believe the church, and this country, stands at the threshold of something… a transformation… so fundamental, that ‘America’ will no longer be recognizable. If this threshold is breached, what will the new America look like? What will this mean for the Christian community? Will we be able to reverse it? More importantly, can we stop it before it materializes?

Do we really have a choice this November? (as reported by infowars.com)
What a depressing choice the American people are being presented with this year.  We are at a point in our history where we desperately need a change of direction in the White House, and we are guaranteed that we are not going to get it.

The list of news articles could go on much further. what is happening within America today? what is happening around the world? Are we truly in the last days? I am convinced that we are in the ‘last days’ of the last days! The church in America needs to be shaken and awaken to what is going on around them. further more, they need to be involved; involved through the church, the community, the political arena, missions and, most importantly, prayer! the greatest weapon we possess is our prayer life. Use it! (Hebrews 5:13-14 BBE) :”For everyone who takes milk is without experience of the word of righteousness: he is a child. But solid food is for men of full growth, even for those whose senses are trained by use to see what is good and what is evil.”
If we don’t use what God has given to us, we will most certainly lose it. Check back periodically as I will continue to update this newsletter on a regular basis, Lord willing, to awaken the church as to what is going on around them, how it can affect us, and to call the church to prayer. Please pray for me as I endeavor to do the Lord’s will. God bless you.
To God be the Glory!
Sincerely,
Rodney
